AJ’s birthday this week. We went out for a meal with some of his family to celebrate. Hannah and I made him a birthday card with lipstick kisses on from each of us, and a belly-button smudge from baby!
My last week at work - it looks as though I can claim Statutory Maternity Pay, which will definitely come in handy. So this is it, my brain can officially turn to jelly for the next few months.
Baby is still very active – he is growing in length and putting on fat, as well as developing his immune system using antibodies passed on from me across the placenta. While he still has room he will continue to turn, but should settle in the head down (or cephalic) position within the next few weeks.
